Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Shelton originally earned her nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She subsequently earned a masters of science in nursing and credentials as an acute care nurse practitioner from the University of Texas. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to joining Southeast Houston cardiology, she worked as a nurse practitioner at the Hermann-Memorial Hospital in Houston and as an intensive care unit nurse at Hermann-Memorial Hospital.
